Brewer Series: Brew Day
On May 2, Memphis Brewers Association invited us to join them at Crosstown Brewing for a brew day. Shane and the Crosstown crew brewed a wort with 2-row malt, which the homebrewers then used as a base to brew their own beer, on site, in the loading dock area. Planned beer styles by the homebrewers included everything from a hoppy red ale to a graff (beer/cider hybrid).
As usual, there was a very good beer share at the end of the brew day. Highlights include Phase Three Kastalia, 2018 Crosstown BORIS, Soul & Spirits Dead Leaves & Dirty Coke (brewed for GABF), Xul-Aid Blue Raspberry, and Tree House Focus on the Dark.
